25hours Hotel, Copenhagen

A 19th-century building, formerly a porcelain factory and university. Centrally located near the Round Tower, it offers 243 unique rooms and hidden gems like the Vinyl Room.

This commercial project used a cornucopia of primary colours in the public washrooms, across basins and cubicles, each featuring a primary-coloured back to wall toilet pan. The colour not only gives the space a different dimension but it’s fun and reiterates the hotels ethos.

TRTC says: “We absolutely love these fun, funky colours which scream summer vibes. A pop of colour can make all the difference so why save it for the walls or lighting. This is a great example of reflection design, using the wash basins as the scene setter and following the colour theme through across coordinated toilets.”
